I hope everyone had a amazing Thanksgiving! I helped my Mom make a lovely Turkey dinner and afterwards we celebrated my Dad's birthday with presents and pie and cheesecake! Then we all snuggled up for a marathon of Christmas movies!



You may purchase a Gift Certificate to Ooh La La Photography (Shady Lane Studios) at 50% off! That's right, any amount up to $500 (so your cost would be $250) may be purchased for use in 2010!

This sale is going through Friday 11/27 at 11:59pm - to Purchase email me oohlalaphoto@gmail.com with what amount and I will send you a paypal invoice. Gift Certificates can be picked up at my studio (check with me for times) or mailed.

Gift Certificates may be used for any session or package fee, or towards any print or digital image package. They must be used all at one time (if you have 1 Gift cert for $200 you must spend it all at once, but I am happy to do 2 $100 ones, etc) They may not be used on pre-booked sessions (if you have already booked and have a pending balance i.e. two part maternity/newborn session)

Christmas Special 2009

$125 - 30 minute mini session at my studio - 5 8x10 Digital images and 1 8x10 or 11x14 Portrait plus Special Gift!

• You will have 10-15 images in your gallery to choose from within 5 days.
  
  
• Up to 3 people included (this is the most I can photograph in the studio usually, Ask if you have a larger group)
  
  
• I can also come to your home and photograph your family in front of your own Christmas Tree. Please contact me for more info. This special is NOT for outdoor sessions. I am still honoring the Fall Special.
  
  
• You may use referral credits (I will let you know if you have any) on these sessions. Other coupons are not valid. If you are a "Little's" member, this session doesn't count towards your book unless you do the 4 sessions in a year.
  
  
• I will have a choice of white, black or red (Might be getting a winter blue one too) plain background and I will have a Christmas tree and gifts set up as well. My tree is decorated in a Red/White "Candy" theme on one side, and a ice blue and silver "Snowflake" theme on the other! I also have lots of cute Christmas Props to use!

Payment of full package fee is due at the time of booking (Paypal) to reserve your time.


If your session is after December 1st, I can email you your digital images and print release so you may print them right away for gifts or cards. Only pick up dates in December are DECEMBER 8th. and Dec 22nd. The next available pick up date is
JANUARY 5th.

Sneak Peek - Fresh Faces Contest First Prize Winner

I was so happy to finally get to meet this wonderful family - We had some scheduling snafus but we set a date and they invited us (me and my Husband/Assistant) out to their amazing Farm in Emmett! I was all over that - we had a relaxing drive out there...and for the photos, well I'll let them talk for themselves...



We went for a walk down the street and found (well, they knew it was there!) a dance hall. I loved the red walls - perfect background!



I love this photo! The truck was there and I asked them if it was abandoned - YES! That's like, photographer heaven right there!



I loved these flowers in their yard! (and the Baby J? The cutest baby ever - with the sweetest laugh!)



and the winner, of course.

Grandparents Day Portrait Event - September 13 2009

Growing up, I was VERY close to my Grandmas. One lived just down the road and babysat me everyday while my Mom worked, and the other lived across the country in Pennsylvania. The memories and the photos I have of them (I have 1 photo of both of my Grandma's together and I am working on getting an enlargement of it for my apartment, I love it!!) are priceless to me. I never had professional portraits taken with them, and now, I wish I had. My Grandma Frances (My Mom's Mom) did have a professional portrait taken of herself in the 80's (I remember being completely awed by the professional studio and that I lost my Michael Jackson purse there LOL!) and my Mom has a 16x20 on her wall, and I can say "Hi" to Grandma everyday.

I recently tried to barter with someone for a prop I wanted, in exchange for portraits of their Grandchildren, they politely declined, saying they got to see their grandchildren every day. The sad thing is, we don't get to see our Grandparents everyday forever.
