Greetings to all the Fairies in the Land!

NOTE: This event filled up in less than a Day! Please let me know if you would like to be put on the cancellation list (if anyone cancels) or for the waiting list for next time!

Shady Lane Studios is would like to invite you to a magical land of Fairies, Pixies and Sprites!



Introducing "Fairytales and Daydreams" - Fairy Portraits in the Park!

All girls will be photographed in one of a kind fairy outfits with props in an outdoor setting by Award Winning Photographer Lauren Harms. All participating girls will receive a Complimentary 5x7 Portrait and a special gift.Additonal Portraits will be available to purchase.

When: May 9th 10am-3pm - (see below for times - You must schedule an appointment time when you RSVP.If you have 1-2 girls, schedule 1 time slot, if you have 2-4 girls, schedule 2 back to back.)

Where: Boise, ID (you will receive directions when you RSVP)

Who: Girls 2-8 years old. We can photograph 9 months and older and girls older than 8 but you need to let us know in advance so we can make sure we have costumes to fit.

Cost: There is no charge for this event if you have not been to one of our events before. If you have,there is a $15 session fee per girl.

Sneak Peek - Finalist #8 - Boise Kid Photography

We are so lucky to get to photograph such beautiful children! Little guy was finalist #8 in our Fresh Faces Contest, he and sister posed for us today!

Sneak Peek - Contest Finalist #5 - Idaho Child Photographer

This sweet little guy is so amazingly photogenic - he started posing while Mom was taking care of paperwork, and we both ran over with cameras ready to capture him!









We also photographed his adorable little twin brothers!

Yee-Haw! Lil Buckaroo's Sneak Peek - Boise Idaho Child Photographers

We had a great time today out at the Park! We ran around dressed as cowboys and whooped and hollered and had a grand old time :-) Here are some of our favorites! (one by Lala and one by Shane!)

Lil Buckaroos Dress-up Event

Both Shane and I love portraits of children with unique props and costumes - Together we are offering some Portrait Events for this spring and summer! We are very excited to announce our first event -

Lil Buckaroos! Classic Cowboy Portraits of Boys 3-10.

Fee: Since this our very first event there is no charge! Each child photographed will receive a Free 5x7 Portrait and a special gift.

We are only accepting 10 more children for our 11 am event. Once that is full we will consider opening more times. First come, first served.

What about the girls? - We will be having a FairyTale Event in a few weeks, I am still having costumes made and securing the props needed to have a magical time.It will be open to girls 3-10 years old and I will be accepting 15 children.If you are interested on being put on the waiting list for the girl event, please email at the address above!

An Exciting Month Ahead!

We're busy as bees working on getting the New Studio ready for our Grand Opening! If you are on our mailing list - We will be sending information out soon about some exciting Events and our Mother's Day Special!

Also - I've gotten several comments on the blog, and a few emails about the winners of the Fresh Faces contest. I'm sorry if you are disappointed about who won - The winners were chosen by the most about of UNIQUE VOTES they received. We did not disqualify anyone for repeat voting in one day (and there was alot of this) - instead the polling website alerted us to duplicate votes by the same IP address and we deleted those. All of the children entered in the contest were adorable, and it was a long process between Shane, Myself, and suggestions from our Photographer friends around the world - to chose the top 13.

Please don't be a sore loser - We are planning a Special event JUST for the finalists of the contest that did not place - and a special coupon will be sent out to ALL that entered. We look forward to meeting everyone!
