Fairytales and Daydreams - Fairytale Portraiture in Boise, ID

On May 1st we welcomed several little fairies into our Fairy Den. We all donned our favorite colors and summoned the butterflies to fly and flit around us. We giggled and searched for other fairies in the forest and even saw a few! Afterwards, we all feasted on Nectar and Fairycakes....

At this event, girls 2 years - 8 years get to dress up like Enchanting Fairies and are photographed by me, Lauren Harms in an outdoor setting.

I CAN photograph little boys (1-5 years) as "Sprites". I am fine with an older boy, if they WANT to be a sprite!!

If you would like an older or younger child to participate, please contact me - The reason why we didn't include younger than 2 years is because they take more time, and older than 8 we have a hard time having dresses that fit properly and modestly.

When: June 12 from 10am -4pm. (see below for available times)
Where: Boise ID (you will receive the location when you book)

Cost: $49 creative fer per child photographed. Each child gets a 15 minute session with me - groups of 2-3 are okay, but you must book an appointment for each girl back to back - I do not guarantee posed group photos. Each child gets a Complimentary 8x10 portrait of themselves and a special prize. We also provide Snacks and Juice for everyone.

You may choose to purchase additonal portraits - Your deposit will go toward your order - We will have portrait packages from $79 - $499 and they include things like prints, keepsake books, and enlargements.

To book - Email me at SHADYLANESTUDIOS@GMAIL.COM with what time/s you would like, and I will send you an PayPal Invoice to complete the transaction. Your time is NOT reserved until payment is made - last year we had no-shows which was unfair to people who were on my waiting list.

Fairytales and Daydreams - Sneak Peek!

Wow - what a day! I had the best time today photographing all of these little fairies, pixies and sprites - they ranged in age from 9 months to 9 years old! I know all of the families are dying for a peek, so here you go - in no particular order my favorites of each girl individually!










































I also had so many adorable sibling/cousin/friend images that I'll have to do a post just with those soon! All Fairy galleries will be complete by May 25th.

Now, I am going to rest for the rest of the weekend and spend time with my Mommy! Happy Mother's Day!

Ready for a Magical Time? - Fairytales and Daydreams Event - 6/20

Shady Lane Studios is would like to invite you to a magical land of Fairies, Pixies and Sprites!



We are pleased to announced our Second "Fairytales and Daydreams" - Fairy Portraits in the Park!

All girls will be photographed in one of a kind fairy outfits with props in an outdoor setting by Award Winning Photographer Lauren Harms. All participating girls will receive a Complimentary 5x7 Portrait and a special gift.Additonal Portraits will be available to purchase.

When: June 20th 10am-3pm - (see below for times) - You must schedule an appointment time when you RSVP.

Cost: There is a $20 reservation Fee per appointment time : If you have 1-2 children, book 1 appointment - If you have 3-4 children, book 2 ($40) back to back. We accept PayPal.

Where: Boise, ID (you will receive directions when you RSVP)

Who: Girls 2-8 years old. We can photograph 9 months and older if they are sitting without support and standing with support.
